One of the films I want to see at the Barbados International Film Festival is ¡Salud! The film
looks at the curious case of Cuba, a cash-strapped country with what the BBC calls ‘one of the world’s best health systems’.
There are plenty of articles on the web about the Cuban health care system; most that I found (from MSNBC, the Harvard Public Health Review, the Guardian, the BBC) are generally favourable, some are less so.
